This year marks YMCA’s 15th annual Youth Matters Awards, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome our fantastic nominees, young people, staff, and volunteers to City Central at HAC, on Friday 15 November 2024.
In celebration of this landmark year, which coincides with YMCA’s 180th anniversary, some very special awards and celebrations will be added to the highly anticipated order of the evening.
Starting out as a brief addendum to YMCA’s Annual General Meeting in 2009, Youth Matters Awards has grown into a respected and renowned annual awards event, which commonly hosts more than 400 guests from YMCAs across England and Wales, as well as sector colleagues and leading industry individuals.
Now a staple event in the YMCA calendar, Youth Matters Awards celebrate young people, staff, volunteers and projects from across 80+ amazing YMCAs, showcasing their outstanding achievements, inspiring feats against adversity and tireless dedication to creating change. Each of its coveted awards epitomise the incredible work being done to transform lives and enrich the communities YMCA serves, each and every day.
