It still terrifies me to remember. The men took out rifles, bashing me unconscious with a rifle butt to my head. My father had been murdered in cold blood – but in just 4 weeks I’m going to be deported back to this hell.

This is the Australian government policy. Despite living and contributing to the Brisbane community for 5 years, it has been difficult to convince the Department that I am under a ‘direct threat’ should I return to any part of Afghanistan..

But I’ve seen the gruesome things they do to people. They tortured and kidnapped my brothers, and viciously bashed me after I refused to fight for them. That's when I moved to Australia to escape them..

Then after the Australian government accidentally published my name online in 2014 saying where I live in a data breach, I got a terrifying direct death threat over Facebook.

The Taliban promised me they’ll kill me if  I ever return - but I can't understand why it’s not considered a ‘threat to my life’.

I’m scared.

Please help me.

I’m begging you Mr Peter Dutton, don’t deport me to my death. My family, including my three children, will lose me forever.
